Meet the Chef
Born in Vila Real de Santo António, Jossara Martins grew up in an environment where the cuisine at home was a mix of African and Algarve influences, the result of her family origins.
​
Having always pursued his academic career in visual arts, he fell in love with cooking during a summer vacation work experience in a restaurant.
​
In 2010 he decided to dedicate himself exclusively to cooking and attended the Cooking Management and Production course at EHT in Vila Real de Santo António.
​
Her adventure in the gastronomy world begins at Assinatura, in Lisbon, with Chef Henrique Mouro, then passes in Gallo D'Oro, Funchal, AS, Amsterdam, Chapitô and Vistas.
​
He was Chef at Guarita Terrace and Hotel Companhia das Culturas.
​
Aa an entrepreneur, in 2018 she opened her first restaurant, Jossy's The American Burger.
​
In 2022, she inaugurated her second restaurant, 3 Marias, a dream come true for the young, dynamic and relaxed cuisine that she applies there, focusing on regional and seasonal products, respecting nature, the soil and with a low ecological footprint.
​
He currently takes over the kitchen at the Muxama restaurant, as executive chef.
